21 Thinking of doing Carpentry in the Army? Hi im 21 and ive been in the building industry as a labourer for two years, the work rate has dropped right off and im gettin no where near enough money to sustain myself. My partner and I are expecting our first child in November. there is no way i want to miss out on my childs birth so i was wondering when the best time for me to sign up and do the 28 day Army Reserves training that i need to do to be an carpentry apprentice? should i sign up and go before our baby is born or should i join later next year?
