| Questions: seems like im living in hell? my husband and i are living with his parents until he gets out of the air force and after that we will move. we have a 7 1/2 month old baby boy together. my husband and i are very grateful or his parents letting me stay while he's gone. there is only one problem. my mother in law is trying to be my sons mother. she is constantly watching everything i do with my son and anytime i do something or something she doesn't approve of she jumps down my throat. just the other she lectured me because my son iisn't talking...HE'S NOT EVEN 8 MONTHS!! he can say some words and i work with him everyday with reading and talking to him. she compares him to my sister in laws baby girl who is 2 months older then he is. saying that he needs to eat solid foods cause thats what Jilly ( his cousin) is doing. my son eats solids every day. he eats eggs for breakfast and for dinner i make his food the only times he eats baby food is in the morning and sometimes at lunch. my son is advanced for his age (according to his doctor) and was crawling by 5 months and has nearly perfected walking. he has 5 teeth now. she makes me feel like im a bad mom because of ho im raising my son. my son gets into everything and she gets mad at me because my son is ruining her floor plant which are poisonous now s that my fault? i have moved them several times and i always get yelled at for it. she says that will die if they are not in that spot...well my son die also if he eats it.she is always telling me how she raised her kids and wants me to follow her steps right down the diaper brand. not to be mean but she has a daughter whom she does not talk to because she's sick in the head ( mother in laws words) another daughter belittles my husband for having a baby under 25 and getting married so young. if you were in this family you would understand ow this family works. im at a stand still and im really scared that one day im going to blow up. please help i have told her how i feel but she sits there and talks down to me saying im not |
