| When to contact a Landscape Company Most people (at least in our area) wait until the snow has completely melted, and spring is in full bloom to contact a Landscape Design and Construction company. The fact is, planning and pricing your new landscape should begin the previous fall, or at least during the winter. This gives the client, as well as the Landscape firm time to easily explore avenues of design, material, and costs. When considering a landscape project, when do you first take it upon yourself to contact a landscape firm? |

I agree with the messgae posted by The Landscape Company. We had a new landscape installed 3 years ago, but waited until May to start contacting companies. The result was a rushed design amd installation. The company we hired was able to start the job 2 days after we contacted them! We now know that any reputable company will need at least a few weeks of lead time because if they are in demand, they won't be able to start the next day!! We had to contact another company the next spring to repair all of the work done in the rushed job the year before. The first company was cheap, but obviously a 'fly by night' company who we couldn't reach to come and fix what they did. We started calling other companies in February, and the firm that came to fix everything came in at the end of April to make things right. They were a little more expensive, but if we had started earlier and not rushed the process, we would have saved thousands in the long run, and a ton of headaches!! |

Yes, indeed. The works go smoothly according to the design without much interventions of nature. |
