| So important!Some people lose sight of the fact that home maintenance is the key to having any home at all in the long run.I emphasize "long run", because things may look dandy when new and all you need to do is keep them clean. Ladies, espcially, like that part. they spend half their lives cleaning and dusting. But, what about the leaking roof or the bad plumbing. So many people live in house that are ready to fall apart at the first push. So, the recommendation is to get a maintenance company (they provide all the services) to go on a walk-around of the whole house and look INSIDE AND BELOW the stuff you see. You will find many interesting things to repair. God bless all! |

I totally agree with you Malcolm people always wait till it's almost deteriorated the plumbing I mean and other household items of course I guess if they didn't wait so long they wouldn't be stuck with a enormous bill, at the end. When the whole bathroom has to be replaced or all the Sewer piping, etc... Having been in the construction field for 28++ years I have only seen this too many times or putting things off for so much time that "several other things" had to be replaced where if you do a Yearly check up things might have turned out different and less expensive on the pocket book. And or like you said hired a Professional to inspect things, so at least this way if you do the maintenance on the car oops I mean the house it will last Longer. |
