Getting Our Pool Ready

Hi there. Summer is getting near and pool parties are just around the corner. We have a little pool at the back of our home and I would like to make it ready for the summer barbecue and parties. I do not know where to start. Some of the fixtures of the pool are not working. I need some help here. Anyway, thanks a lot and hope to hear from all of you soon.
